Over the past month, more than one million people in Lebanon have been displaced due to ongoing conflict, including families from South Lebanon now residing in temporary shelters in Sidon. Among them are mothers caring for newborns in extremely challenging conditions.
In response, Limitless Humanitarian Services, in collaboration with Jigsaw, continues to support displaced communities through both essential aid and psychosocial care. A recent safe-space session, provided displaced women with the opportunity to share their experiences and emotional struggles in a supportive environment.
The session also focused on dignity and health, where participants received guidance on menstrual hygiene and were introduced to reusable sanitary pads .
Through Jigsaw’s “Baby Steps to Wellness” campaign, postpartum kits containing essential, mother-selected items were distributed to support new mothers during the postnatal period 🤱🍼.
In addition, ensuring access to clean drinking water and basic facilities such as washing machines remains a key priority, as these services are vital for hygiene, health, and restoring dignity to displaced families.
